YOUR FIRST CLASS

When you join our Fitness Kickboxing or Yoga program, you step into a structured and supportive training environment.

There is no private assessment required. You may register and begin attending scheduled classes right away. Drop-in sessions and class packs are available so you can train on your terms.

Each session is instructor-led and designed to accommodate different fitness levels. You will be guided through proper technique, pacing, and progression to ensure you train safely and effectively.

Our Fitness Kickboxing classes focus on conditioning, coordination, and controlled intensity. Our Yoga sessions focus on mobility, breath control, flexibility, and recovery.

KICKBOXING CLASSES

Each session includes a dynamic warm-up, striking technique instruction, combination drills, and conditioning work. Classes are structured so beginners and experienced participants can train together safely. Expect to sweat.

YOGA SESSIONS

Focused on functional flexibility, core stability, and mindful breathing. Yoga at the Dojo is not passive — it is active recovery designed to support your training and daily movement. All levels are accommodated.

No. The Fitness Kickboxing and Yoga program is designed specifically for adults who want structured fitness training without the martial arts curriculum. No prior experience in karate, kickboxing, or yoga is required.

Comfortable athletic clothing — workout pants or shorts, a t-shirt, and clean indoor athletic shoes. No special uniform is required for fitness classes. Yoga participants should wear clothing that allows full range of motion. We train barefoot on the mat for yoga sessions.

No. Fitness Kickboxing at Purple Dragon ATL involves striking pads and bags, bodyweight conditioning, and combination drills. There is no partner sparring and no physical contact. The focus is on technique, cardio endurance, and functional strength.

No long-term commitment is required. Our Fitness Kickboxing and Yoga program offers drop-in sessions and class packs, so you can train at a pace that works for you. Many of our participants start with a class pack and build consistency from there.

Yes. Many of our members combine both classes for a complete training week — kickboxing for cardiovascular conditioning and strength, and yoga for flexibility and recovery. This combination produces the best long-term results and is the recommended approach for consistent progress.
